Why is it worth buying your ticket online?

Purchasing your ticket online is the fastest and most convenient way to get your ski pass:

  • No waiting at the ticket counter – go straight to the lifts
  • Flexible purchase from home or on the go
  • All your tickets are stored in one place in your customer account

Do tickets cost the same online as at the ticket counter?

Yes. The price in the online shop is the same as at the ticket counter.

Can I buy multiple tickets at once in the online shop?

Yes, you can purchase several tickets in one order and pay for them together.

Do I need to register to buy a ticket?

Yes, registration is required for ticket purchases.

Benefits of registering:

  • Your personal data is saved – making future purchases even faster
  • All previous orders are available anytime
  • Tickets can be easily managed or transferred to other people


⚠️ Guest checkout without registration is not possible.

Are there any discounts available online?

  • Child and youth tickets are available online (spot checks may be carried out in the ski areas).
  • Other discounts (e.g. for groups, people with disabilities, or special promotions) are only available at the ticket counters on-site and must be requested with valid proof.

Are dogs allowed in the ski area?

🐶 Yes, dogs are allowed.

  • A separate dog ticket must be purchased.
  • All dogs must be kept on a leash and wear a muzzle.
  • For safety reasons, dogs are not permitted on the ski slopes.

Which payment methods are accepted?

The following payment methods are accepted in the online shop:

  • Apple Pay
  • Debit card
  • Mastercard
  • VISA

How do I receive my ticket after purchase?

Depending on the ticket type, we offer several options:

  • E-Ticket: You will receive a QR code by email immediately after purchase. Simply scan it at the access gate.
  • Pick-up Code: You will receive a collection code by email. All booked tickets can be collected at the ticket machines or counters at the valley stations.
  • Reload KeyCard: If you already have a KeyCard, you can easily reload it online. The card number (01-1614...) can be found on the back. Afterwards, you can go straight to the lifts.
  • Smartphone Ticket: Activate your ticket in the Zell am See-Kaprun app and use your smartphone with Bluetooth as your ski pass.

I lost or forgot my ticket. What should I do?

No worries! All your orders are stored in your personal customer account.

You can access your booking confirmation anytime and re-download it if needed.

How the Smartphone Ticket works:

  1. Download the Zell am See-Kaprun App
    👉 Download for iOS   |   Android

  2. Purchase the ticket in the online shop

  3. Load the ticket into the app via the link or QR code in the order confirmation
    ⚠️ Can only be done once per ticket

  4. Enable Bluetooth and location access in the app

  5. Activate the ticket in the app wallet
    ⚠️ Can only be done once per device and ticket

  6. Keep the app open while using it (can run in the background, screen may be locked)

  7. Hold the smartphone on the left side or turn it towards the reader

Tips & Tricks for a Smooth Experience

  • 🔋 Keep your phone charged (below 30% battery – please recharge or contact staff)
  • Disable power-saving mode, as it may interfere with Bluetooth transmission
  • Some phone cases can block the signal – remove if necessary
  • Internet connection is only needed for the purchase, not for gate access
  • Remove old KeyCards from your pocket to avoid interference

What happens to my personal data?

Your data is stored by Gletscherbahnen Kaprun AG to process your ticket purchase and to meet legal requirements.

If you have also consented to marketing use, your data may be used for that purpose as well.

Which smartphones are compatible?

Not all devices support the Smartphone Ticket.

  • There may be restrictions with Huawei, OnePlus, Oppo, and similar manufacturers.

Forwarding tickets (if purchased for someone else)

➡️ Forward the order confirmation email to the person concerned.
They can then either open the included ticket link or scan the ticket QR code from the email.

💡 If the ticket has already been added to the app, a not activated ticket can be shared using the share function with an email address registered in the app.
